There’s a norm for working professionals to obtain BH registration. Their company has to be in at least 4/6 states.

When did you look into BH registration in Bangalore? Is it recent?
Apparently, the High Court told the state not to limit it for private employees.
September last year, dealers were giving assurance it would start for private folks from Nov’23 but it did not pan out. Hence booked it from my hometown
If you're natively from "friendly" state, there are agents that'll arrange a BH registration regardless of job, it's elaborate process but works like magic.
The whole point of BH registration was to prevent harrasment in other states, tax saving is secondary.
