Not sure if that's the right way to look at it. These companies become really toxic during this period. You can feel it in your surroundings. Your peers are all stressed out. You will see a lot of attrition.

yes right, after layoffs is the shitty period in an org.. where i was layoffs happened in May, and atleast tll july - aug everybody was so demotivated and there happened lot of attrition inspite management assured like hell we won't do it again (until ofcourse if biz conditions change considerably)
