Bengaluru to Mysore

We are planning to travel to Mysore from Bengaluru. Can anyone please suggest better road to travel by bikes?

I heard there is construction going on in Kanakpura road. Is that still that bad?

And express way's service lane is full of speed breakers.

Please suggest a good way to go to Mysore.

I've found trains to be the best way to commute between Bangalore and mysore. Cheapest and takes similar time as going by road. Only prefer chair car trains though.

There are 3 ways public means to go to Mysore. I don't know about bike travel.
