Being Salaried in India Feels Like a Punishment, Not a Privilege!
Sometimes I wonder if being honest and salaried in India is just a polite way of saying: “You exist to fund everyone but yourself.”
You slog through long hours, fight deadlines, manage impossible bosses, and when the salary hits your account, two things happen like clockwork:
✅ The Government takes a fat cut through income tax - because tracking salaried people is easy.
✅ The Landlord takes another giant piece - because renting is the only option when real estate prices mock your savings. #MumbaiKeDard
And what’s left? You’re expected to plan your life, secure your family’s future, save for emergencies, invest for retirement, from the scraps.
Meanwhile, loopholes flourish for others, but the salaried middle class remains the default revenue source that can’t hide, can’t run.
Enough is Enough, bc mazak bana diya hai! ITR file karne me alag si anxiety hoti hai :(
