I think that is if you want to apply above 2L-5L in total value for an IPO.

It's related to the retail category. In the retail category, you can only buy up to 2 lakh rupees, as UPI doesn't allow more than that. In the HNI category, you can purchase shares more than 2 lakh rupees using net banking.
