Azure Data Engineer 4 YOE

Hi Everyone, I have been working at Cognizant for over 4 years as fortunately I landed into a very good project: Legacy to Cloud Migration (and may be became a little too comfortable), which helped me learn and grow pretty steadily. Now I have been searching for new opportunities. I have looked into Glassdoor, AmbitionBox etc. If I choose a service based company the salary rage for 4 YOE is 12-15 LPA, for big4’s 15-18 LPA and some product based/Consultancy firm 19-25LPA. My current CTC is around 7LPA and I wanted to know what should be the safe ask for expected CTC and around what range the companies could have their budget. I have filled 50+ job applications but have not heard back from 45+ companies, could it be because of the Expected CTC ask(~2.2-2.6x depending upon the average salary for that company)? I also made sure the ATS score was above 85 for my resume. Staying positive and hoping for the best, else I will have to start bank exams preparation 🫠.
