Aspired product manager

I am a software engineer with around 10 years in IT with 7 yrs as a frontend developer, I am very sure that i dont want to do coding anymore, I am good at talking with people and making friends and I love working with others as it makes me more focused somehow and I have worked with multiple PMs and I am pretty sure I want to do the same, but also scared about changing field and starting from scratch...will PM be a good career choice for me??? Pls someone guide
