As dev, do you think Ai will replace you?

Not just job AI should replace me and then kill me so that i can die in peace

As a dev, maybe. As an engineer, definitely not

Right now ? No.

In the near future? It won't replace Devs. It will replace Devs who don't use AI.

In the future? Yes

I want AI to replace me so that I can focus on business

Basic apps and MVP's yes but as a skilled dev no. Even over a period of time MVP's would also cost companies huge amounts as AI requires huge infrastructure which is costing bombs. The AI cost right now is just to collect data and addict people

Hard YES, just observe 2-3 years,

Mechanical jobs will boom.

It definitely will but it's learnt on what we built, if it doesn't have anything new to learn it will also no grow, the industry will become null void. So there is a lot of scope still for pure devs and research engineers
