So I ended up getting a hike I’m not so satisfied with but I’m planning to switch soon. Do I negotiate for a better hike or just sit back and work on switching? Thoughts?

This is what the Product VP of my previous org told me-
“The day you need to ask for more money, its a bad fit for you because the company didn’t trust you enough in the first place.
If you think you are worth what you expect, and your expectations weren’t met, it’s better to leave.”
(Followed by a 50% appraisal)

Interview, get the offer. If you like the current org wlb then tell them to match, if they match well and good else accept the offer
