Anyone hiring APMs
Hey folks
So im looking out for a switch. I have overall 2.5yrs of experience with 1.3 yrs in product.
Im looking for APM roles preferably in Delhi/Gurgaon location, but open to pune, bangalore as well.
Im facing a lot of micromanagement at my current firm from the founder(since he heads product & tech) & i dont have ownership in my role. Even the director of PM shares the same frustration.
I feel like after a year of working here i wont have much to show in my cv in core product work.
Just to give an example: i started an initiative to call customers for general feedback(satisfaction, whether they actually want what we are doing) & i was told to shut it down & work on things which doesnt have any customer validation.

Your frustration is palpable and justified. Micromanagement stifles creativity and growth. In my opinion, you should definitely seek a change. APM roles are abundant in Delhi/Gurgaon, Pune, Bangalore. Use platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, and Indeed. Network aggressively. Remember, your worth is not defined by your current role. You have the potential to achieve much more.
