Internal switch is the easiest path , try to get product responsibilities in current role.
Don’t think that is an option in a service based company, should switch to a product one first

And how did you switch from marketing to product?
No MBA , BTech from a tier 2 college . I got an opportunity to work on some product projects while in marketing and loved it so tried to get more. Eventually got a full time product role in another company.
You also said you ran a startup, when was this in the timeline?
Are you also being poached by the other competitors in this space? Have heard about a few names in this domain who have been hiring right off of SC to get first hand insights.
Also marketeer > PM, how did you approach the move, hands on learning only or did you take any courses to upskill yourself?
