Hey everyone

I am a data-scientist working at a startup, i also do a bit of backend dev, handle clients and go onsite to understand requirements and data collection.

I have written business logic, optimization code for better cycle time. Have good understanding of python, AI, kafka, redis, docker mongo, django.

I am getting paid 5LPA Yoe : 2

But look at the bright side you have good exposure for many tech. You are just away from good jump for better package

You are super underpaid, Learning is fine but you have to make your profile at par with market rate, otherwise the new company will ask old company compensation and try to lowball you. So when you switch make sure you have 3-4 offers to make it worthwhile. Else you'll remain underpaid for a quite sometime

Am I underpaid?

I'll keep it short. I'm 22 M. Joined a startup last year July as Intern (got paid 15K/m)

Got PPO, joined as FTE this June, 7.2 LPA (60k/m).

Fyi, I work as a Software Engineer (Mobile)
