Always double check stock prices before buying in case of bugs/dark patterns
Was browsing through random stocks and came across this chart that seemed fishy af. Turns out their candle and line charts don't even match and aren't accurate.
Trading apps like these sometimes have bugs or delays in price updates. Best to check price from one or more sources before buying something out of fomo.
This app is indmoney, hadn't come across such weird anomalies before. I usually check prices and charts on tradingview before making a trade. Wonder how many people might have fallen for such bugs/mistakes.
Also, please learn technical and fundamental analysis people. Don't rely on suggestions from these apps, they are mostly very bad and miss context. Your own knowledge and fundamentals should be strong enough to be able to use these tools properly and safely.
Another weird dark pattern I've noticed lately is that the app opens straight to F&O instead of regular stocks even though I haven't even activated F&O. Used to open to stock portfolio by default before.
Very fishy stuff tbh. Used to recommend indmoney to people but don't think I'll do that anymore.

But there should be a notification somewhere on the app to notify users of the discrepancy in graph price vs actual. It's not obvious to an average user.
