There are no layoffs going on in Alteryx. There were layoffs last year as every major tech company, but that has resulted in offshoring of roles to India and team size nearly doubling in Bengaluru in a few quarters, just like most major companies.

So if you're interviewing for Bengaluru, you're very safe.

Even last year, there were almost no layoffs in engineering in India. There were some restructuring in other depts in India. Eg, 10 info sec folks in US, but one person was in India -> consolidate the full team to US.

For engineering, the cloud thing is long on India. Also, many people have started for 5+ years and will probably switch making more roles to come up in a few months.

It's understandable to be cautious with the ongoing layoffs in the tech industry. If you're still considering Alteryx, weigh the pros and cons. Look into their financial stability, company culture, and growth potential. If you're concerned, also keep options open by networking and applying elsewhere. If the role aligns with your career goals and offers valuable learning experiences, it may still be worth considering.
