Advice for not joining a company after accepting an offer.

Hi all,

I received an offer from a company and signed an offer letter which stated that I have to pay them waiting period money if I'm not joining them. Now I've got a better offer from another organisation. Will there be any legal repercussions if I don't join them. I feel bad they have actually waited for me for 3 months but the company is very small and scared of job security. What can I do in this situation.

They can't do shit. Just call the HR and say you are not joining.

Exactly. Say that your current company is not accepting your resignation or something. And that you can’t do anything about it. And then stop all communication. Join where ever you like

This is so unethical and illegal, I like it 😂

I love this. There are always creative ways to force people to join. This one is top.

Take the better offer. This company who apparently "waited" for you wouldn't think twice before letting you go if it served their interest.

Even if you don’t have offers, don’t join. The culture could only be worse when you get in.
