Adobe WLB Discussion
I have an offer from Adobe and I'm planning to get married this year (or maybe next year). I am a girl and I want to stick with a company with a good WLB as many things will change after marriage. Should I consider Adobe in such scenarios or should I push my marriage a little further? I have resigned at my current company so staying there is not an option.
PS. - This post has nothing to do with TC, So ppl asking tc before answering anything, plz stay away. Want genuine replies.

I’m at Adobe, and life here is amazing—but for some, it can be challenging. It really depends on which team you join. Most people on my team usually come in around 11 and leave by 4. So, if you ask me, I’d suggest checking with your manger and the teammates.
Thanks I have said the HR to fix a meeting with manager before accepting the offer. Most probably she will fix the meeting by this week only.

Having said that, I don't know how you quantity WLB but in terms of being supportive, Adobe surely is. Embraced motherhood and grew professionally as well during my tenure.
Yeah I completely agree with you for not pushing my wedding but my current comany is paying 50% less and for the long term they will give peanut hikes. Although I have great work life balance here. I am considering this factor as well and completely confused what should I choose.
Adobe is quite supportive of personal life milestones like wedding, maternity, health. At the same time, a new job demands your dedication and commitment in the initial few months, till you get the hang of things...
May be dont go for an awfully long leave during wedding and you would be able to balance your work- life... :)

After reading it seems it’s me few yrs back as i got married after 2months joining adobe. So I can tell from my exp that Adobe is very friendly and supportive in these terms.
If you’re getting a good tc which you won’t get next 2-3 years in Adobe and must go for it as after marriage definitely you’d look for relaxing life and enjoying with family and partner rather than chasing such opportunities again.
My pov is personal goals should be on priority than professional (obviously not compromised) as personal achievements makes life memorable and inner peace rather than professional as company does not bother but family does always
Think about what you’ll regret more in the long term - letting go of the job offer or postponing your marriage…. As you have 2.6 years of work experience I understand you’re quite young and I’d have chosen to delay marriage if I were you even if I needed to be in a long distance relationship. But you know your other variables better and can make a more holistic decision.
I'm thinking the same but long distance sucks.
