I was just curious to know how many total government employees are there in India? If we include the military services, both state and central government employees, what would be the total percentage of government employees in our working population?

According to the latest Interim Budget documents, government employee strength is expected to increase by 12% with 3.51 billion people in 2024-25.

There are various competitive exams for different government job positions. You can take those examinations and you may also enlist as an employee after the interview round, of course.
