About to leave, going for a break

My lwd is coming near, 5-6 days to go. Taking a break from job, want to figure out what to do next. Been working as oracle developer since last 8 years, now no more coding. Want to utilise this break also to decompress mind from endless stress we get .. shoot some ideas.. anything is welcome..

I’m on a career break too. Are you keeping a deadline on being jobless? Me personally I have not. I have funds which will keep me sailing for a year or two easily even with medical emergencies

Same here. Had a discussion with family before resigning if we will be good for sometime without stable payslip.
So, not decided yet how much time to go being jobless until now, as i had planned to pivot careers, and i think it might need sometime to figure out. Average time i thought as 1-2 months while trying to work as freelancer in different job profiles, but again life never works as we plan. So mostly will be going with the flow and firstly will try to relax my mind, because it is a mess right now after all the hustle.

How about you? How are you navigating this break?

I'm also on a career break and in similar mindset. What options are you thinking for non coding job? @BarneyStin
