A Nation in Crisis: Is There a Way Forward?
I'm exhausted from hearing every day about how broken this country is—corruption, scams everywhere, and a pathetic system run by an incompetent government, bureaucrats, and judiciary.
Whistleblowers are being murdered, while the rich and powerful get away with crimes as serious as killing people—punished with nothing more than writing an essay.
Violence over language. Deep-rooted issues like regionalism, religious intolerance, casteism, and racism are everywhere. I've never felt so ashamed and helpless at the same time.
I just want to understand—do others feel the same way? What can we, as ordinary citizens, do to change this?
Other countries have faced similar struggles. How did they overcome them?

I feel the exact same. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to change things as history has shown time and again, only the big/corrupt people will win in India

I do feel the same everyday. At the end every problem we face boils down to one of the issues above the same. People say you can’t do much about it, just bow your head down and continue working. Everyday I think about leaving this country. Even i think, are we so helpless, that instead of changing things for the better, we are bound to be the victims.
