What is a decent compensation for 8 YOE Software Professional in the Indian Tech market for product companies.
I am earning 35L INR but finding it hard to switch as companies are lowballing compensation.
Just trying to analyse correct compensation.
Total compensation should be 70l-1.3cr depending on luck and skill. If less can be improved. If in that range, its decent
40-45 base salary
40 base is ideal. Also depends on your tech stack and technical excellence
50 lpa+ tc but target companies that has such budget
8x8=64lpa!
Excluding stocks
Every company where I get a call from says 19 or 20 LPA is their maximum budget, in Chennai location majorly. Not ready to move above that range.
Or maximum of 20% to 30% hike from CCTC.
