I don't think so. Someone's YoE is irrelevant as to how much they can earn.
Theyd have to constantly upskill, constantly create impact, solving hard problems.
That's when the compensation increases.
It doesn't increase because of staying in IT for 15 yrs

Maybe in some cases, but this wouldn't justify some managers' behaviour when it comes to appraisal because they're jealous of how much their team members earn BASED on their YOEs.
