๐ Pass-out Year: 2022 ๐ผ Got offer letters from 2 organizations, but the joining got delayed ๐ ๐ They took training sessions (1โ2 times) and then rejected me unexpectedly ๐ โณ Had a career gap of 2 years โ๏ธ In Dec 2024, I got an internship in Cloud domain ๐ฐ Quit in Oct 2025 since they were paying only โน5k/month ๐๏ธ Moved to Bangalore, but not getting calls or opportunities despite trying hard ๐

Dont listen to this guy, focus on skill development, build one project and keep on building. You should have utilized the last 2 years like this. Maybe open source contribution. There are plenty of ways to stand out from crowd.

I did one from IIT-D bro, mat lagana 1 rupees in certificate for God sake. Paise bhi jayenge time bhi waste hoga. Krna he to 400-500 Udemy wale krlo max.

DevOps/Cloud roles are usually for folks with 2-3+ YoE. First get a SDE role job, then switch to DevOps

Devops role can be converted to fte after internship.

The biggest mistake you did was resigning for low pay. Let me tell you my story I worked as a frontend intern for 8k i completed that happily without any worries and now at 1.3L per month as backend engg

WWWWWW

find an edge, find blue ocean markets In todayโs world education only matters if tier-1 rest all not so! Make some connections I mean visit a lot of conferences et, personally just make a good LinkedIn & Twitter and getting masses to view you having a pow is a great way to get into any company

also make the account faceless without your name, I have got a lotta offers from many platforms be it LinkedIn, insta / twitter
majorly on faceless pages even startups give you gigs if youโre exceptional and can get shit done in a fast pace

what kind of faceless pages? I didn't understand.

My suggestion,
Just think you have 2 yrs career gap with no zero experience and these 2 yrs atleast there other freshers who graduated who didn't got job will be more than 10lacs+
Now think how you will stand out from them........
By doing some worth less certificates???? By doing some random DSA, system design???? Just think.......

What is the solution for this?

First things first "tum akele nhi ho". Secondly if you're trying hard that you say is your best, then you must be trying to hit a far away goal or you completely do not know what it takes to crack a fresher full time job.
Think again what you want to crack, and with the "2years" gap I would suggest joining some sort of paid bootcamp because it might help you get a breakthrough into the industry at least.
Rab Rakha!

Start selling yourself basis business value addition instead of technical value. Thatโs Rule 1, Rule 2 is I am happy to hire you if you want to do a business grounds up but could you suggest what value you can create for any organisation?

Wait do not panic !! Your turn will come very soon.
You have good skills, just do more hands on it and be ready for an interview.
Try to find a good start up and join to learn at least 6 months.
Do not chase money at the starting of your career.
Hard work eventually paid off.
Good Luck ๐ค

Step 1: Define your goal If youโre looking for a DevOps internship or entry-level role, focus your efforts on connecting with the right people โ the ones who can actually help you get noticed.
Step 2: Smart LinkedIn Search โข Go to the LinkedIn search bar and type titles like CTO, Engineering Manager, or DevOps Lead. โข Filter by location (e.g., Bangalore) to narrow it down. โข Send them a personalized connection request. โข Once they accept, politely share your updated CV and express your interest in any internship or entry-level opportunities.
Step 3: Target Startups โข Create a list of startups in Bangalore with less than 200โ300 employees โ these companies are usually more open to hiring interns or freshers. โข Visit each startupโs LinkedIn company page. โข Go to the People section and search for CTO, DevOps Lead, or Engineering Manager. โข Connect with them and send a genuine, personalized message mentioning your skills and interest.
Step 4: Stay Consistent & Patient This process takes time โ but if you stay consistent, keep learning, and follow up respectfully, youโll surely land a good opportunity soon. ๐
