17L Base in Coinswitch or 22L Base in a 996 High growth Startup

Coinswitch: 17L base + 5L esops Company 2: (working as an intern here rn): 22L base no esops

Currently working as a Product intern in company 2, the growth is crazy, we’re doubling numbers in span of a few months. Learning wise, I dont think i could be in a better place, thats the only pro though. Its a proper 996, its taking an insane toll mentally.

The only thing that is keeping me going is in a shit market like this, starting off with a 22L base will put me in a good position for switching companies later.

Honestly wondering if i should stop bi*ching and keep at it or accept the lower pay for a chill WLB (confirmed with people working there)

both offers are well above the market for an entry-level product role. the 5l difference is the price you're paying for your sanity, which is a pretty standard tax in the 996 ecosystem. you're not choosing between a good and a bad offer, you're choosing which kind of exhaustion you prefer for the next two years.

Crypto exchanges aren't really exciting stuff tbh. Also kinda risky considering they're constantly under attack from hackers. Look at what happened to wazirx, cryptopia or even Mt Gox.

Not a good place to be in. Almost no one was willing to pay ex wazirx employees inflated salaries.

As for current 996 , that's not an ideal place to be in either if you don't think you can endure it.

I'd say keep looking for options.
